Elementary Report

Registration for Pre-K will take place on Monday, June 30. We have a limit of 30 students, and currently we have 18 students signed up to register on the 30th.

In order for students to have a smooth transition into kindergarten, for the first time, we are offering parents and incoming kindergarten students three opportunities to come to the elementary school before school officially starts. On June 19, the playground was open from 6:00 – 7:00 PM. Thirteen students and their parents were present for this event. On July 17, from 6:00 – 7:30 PM, students may tour the elementary building and take a school bus ride. Then on August 21, kindergarten orientation will be held. I want to commend Mrs. Deanne Baker, Louise Strait, Amber Clark, and Suzette Knox for volunteering their time to come in over the summer to assist with these events.
