Dear Parents,


Southern Fulton School District has recently launched a new facet of its food service program that provides three new on-line services to parents: 1) it permits parents to monitor their studentís lunchtime expenditures for meals or a la carte items for the past thirty (30) days; 2) it shows the studentís current account balance; and 3) it affords parents the opportunity to make payments to their studentís food service account through a checking or savings account. Each childís account statement is updated nightly so that the information and payments are current the following day.


There is no charge to parents to register and to use the on-line monitoring of the studentís account balance or to view a record of what their student has been eating. However, there is a $1.50 charge each time the electronic on-line feature is used to draw money from a designated checking or savings account.


To explain, if a parent merely wants to see how much money remains in his/her childís account in order to know when to add more, there is no fee. Parents may view the information for free as often as they want. There is no obligation requiring the parents to use the on-line payment feature. If a parent wants to use the ACH (automatic checking) feature, the parentís checking account or savings account, whichever has been designated, will be charged $1.50 per transaction, no matter what the transferred amount. For example, if a parent puts $50.00 in the childís food service account, the fee is $1.50. If a parent puts $5.00 in the same account, the fee is also $1.50 for the transaction.


In order to take advantage of this new online feature, you will need to go to and CREATE A PARENT ACCOUNT for your use. Click Create Account on the top menu bar. Fill in the required information on the Parent Account Sign-Up page. Choose your studentís school district from the School District drop down menu. A link to the myschoolaccount website will be included in the Parent section of Southern Fultonís website -


Create your own unique User ID and Password, click the accept box and click Signup. An email will be sent to your email address, containing a Verification Code. After you receive this Verification Code e-mail, you may start adding your students according to the outlined instructions listed.


Login using the User ID and Password you created. Enter the Verification Code that was e-mailed to you, in the box, to verify your account and email address. You will need your studentís ID number (some school districts also require date of birth) to add each student. After the students are added you will be able to view the lunch account activity and make payments to the student lunch account.


Any money not spent by the end of school will be available for your childís use the following school year.Students still have the option to pay at school, as they have done in the past.




Note: A parent can have many students, but a student can only be linked to one parent at time.
