Southern Fulton School District Report Card
For the school year 2004-2005
No Child Left Behind (NCLB) is the federal education legislation that President Bush signed into law in January 2002. NCLB replaces the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) that authorized the use of federal funds to support public school education. NCLB requires schools to set standards for student achievement, teacher certification, and continuous improvement. IT holds teachers and school districts accountable for results that are measured by the Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) annual testing programs. NCLB also requires that each school district issue a report card to all parents and to the community in general detailing the overall performance of the district and its students.
